报告题目1EIGENSENSITIVITY ANALYSIS OF MECHANICAL STRUCTURES

AbstractDespite the highely sophisticated development of finite element methods, a initial finite element model for structural dynamic analysis can be inaccurate or even incorrect due to the difficulties of correct modelling, uncertainties on the finite element input data and geometrical oversimplification. The sensitivity approach is based on the prior selection of updating parameters (design variables) in the initial FE model. Only when the parameters are chosen correctly, does this approach provide a prior test analysis of which the results from the test can help updating to the maximum. One of the advantages of model updating using eigensensitivity analysis is that mode expansion is not required. In recent years, first- and/or higher-order sensitivity analysis have been used to predict the dynamic characteristics of modified mechanical structures. Several methods for a calculation of derivatives of eigenvectors with respect to design parameters are described here. These are the finite-difference method, the modal method, a modified modal method, Nelson's method, an improved first-order approximation of eigenvalues and eigenvectors and an iterative method. By combining the other structural reanalysis techniques and one of these sensitivity methods, it is possible to enhance the efficiency and the accuracy of structural optimization techniques for determining the optimum condition of mechanical structure specified by an analyst.

报告题目2THE INFLUENCE OF THE WEIGHT OF COUPLING ON THE DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR OF SHAFT OF ELECTROMOTOR

Abstract:This paper deals with analysis of the dynamic behavior of shaft of electromotor. Two cases are done. In the first case coupling doesn’t exist on the free end of shaft, and in the second case there is coupling which mass is 600 kg. Distribution of potential and kinetic energy in every finite element is used for analysis. In this study it is shown that structural dynamic modification is important in structural reanalysis.
